Dr. Michael Prebeg is an innovative practitioner, specializing in performance enhancement, career longevity and injury recovery. As a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Dr. Prebeg provides unparalleled treatments through his unique combination of soft tissue techniques, such as Active Release (ART), with Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and joint manipulation to optimize his results. Years of academic and hands-on experience have catapulted his expertise to the front of his field, making him the go-to practitioner for some of the most complicated cases among NCAA, Olympic and professional athletes. His success with these patients has earned him the position of consulting chiropractor with the National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) and the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team, where he spends most home games in the locker room treating players.

Dr. Prebeg maintains a clinical practice at Mount Sinai Hospital, and at Athlete’s Care Sports Medicine Clinics. Dr. Prebeg is also a Senior Instructor in the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University, is the Treasurer of the Canadian Contemporary Acupuncture Association, and is the Founder, President and Lead Instructor at Skills-In-Hand Inc.

FIFA assists practitioners with their patient management by strengthening functional assessment skills to improve patient results and multidisciplinary team effectiveness. We will cover an assessment system that supports, but does not mimic the orthopaedic assessment, that is utilized by leading manual medicine practitioners to deliver optimal results.

Athletes focus on performance optimization both in the gym and in the treatment room during off-season. This course, located at historic St. Michaels Arena and the state of the art Saint Andrews College. It allows participants a rare, behind-the-scenes, chance to view specific sports related dysfunctions and injuries that you wouldn't typically see in your day-to-day practice or in an educational institution. Participants will get the opportunity to observe actual assessments and treatments of professional hockey players, receive hands-on instructional coaching, and participate in an open analytical discussion and case review.
